Why We Exits

Why We Exist

British Muslim expertise is everywhere. It’s just not in the room.

British Muslim expertise is everywhere. We make sure it's heard.

There are around four million Muslims in Britain doing extraordinary work — running businesses, leading public services, shaping arts and culture, supporting communities in crisis. That talent and commitment has rarely been organised, connected and channelled into policy, media and civic leadership at scale.

What People Say

What People Say

"As someone who has experienced racism and Islamophobia throughout my life and career, I understand what it's like to feel disrespected. The Network is bringing people together to support British Muslims to tackle misconceptions and prejudices. It's an idea whose time has come."

Azeem Rafiq

Former Professional England Cricketer

"For too long British Muslims have been made to feel that their voices do not matter. As a result, many feel alienated and their contribution to our society is underutilised. The UK Muslim Network is part of a much needed effort to change that and I hope everyone, from all backgrounds,

\will get behind it."
