British Muslim expertise is everywhere. We make sure it's heard.
There are around four million Muslims in Britain doing extraordinary work — running businesses, leading public services, shaping arts and culture, supporting communities in crisis. That talent and commitment has rarely been organised, connected and channelled into policy, media and civic leadership at scale.
Britain’s Muslim communities are woven into every part of national life - from healthcare and education to business, arts, public service and civic leadership. There are now four million Muslims in the UK and by 2050 likely to make up 15% of the population
UKMN has been built to change that by building the civic infrastructure that brings the right expertise into the right rooms at the right times, consistently and not only in moments of crisis. that brings the right expertise into the right rooms at the right times consistently, not only in moments of crisis.
Yet too often Muslim expertise is absent from the places where decisions are shaped. Engagement remains reactive rather than strategic, and communities are too often only approached in moments of tension rather than as long-term partners in solving national challenges.
